Driving around Goa is a very different experience to driving around Dubai: it’s about the journey as much as getting there. From Anjuna to Aranbol beginning at 6am, I decided to photograph what I saw on the ride. This ride is incredibly beautiful with the usual Goan mix of cows in the road, the smells of burning fields, packs of stray dogs running after you snapping at your feet, colourful temples, women in saris side saddling on bikes, hippy tourists on enfields and rich young Mumbaians in their 4WDs swerving past you, all to the beautiful backdrop of the Goan countryside. I never usually travel with a huge grin on my face, but in Goa it was an automatic impulse.
